Mineral Fusion is a cosmetics brand dedicated to health and wellness, both for the planet and our bodies. Beginning in 2007, it is now the #1 natural cosmetic brand. Mineral Fusion offers a wide range of beauty products including nail polish, hair care, body care, and skincare. They utilize natural ingredients, all products remain free of gluten, talc, artificial colors, SLS, phthalates, and synthetic fragrances. This company never conducts animal testing. A large percentage of Mineral Fusions beauty products are verified by the Environmental Working Group. The EWG VERIFIED seal is awarded to safer cosmetics that meet EWG’s verification criteria. The rigorous criteria include compliance with equitable manufacturing practices, ingredient standards, and labeling.

This nail polish product is a “Vegan, Carbonfree® Nail Polish that Performs Beautifully”. They have partnered with CarbonFund.org to neutralize their impact on the planet with the purchase of each bottle. The company calculates the carbon emissions created when producing their nail polish and then contributes the funding to energy efficiency, renewable energy, and forestry to offset their emissions. I have purchased and used many colors of this nail polish and stand behind their messaging. The company could improve by using more sustainable packaging and lowering their plastic usage. But overall, the product is high quality, safe to use, and a smart choice if you enjoy painting your nails!
